DC's 11th Annual Goth Prom

The longest running event in the DC alternative scene. 
Get out your party dress, and be ready to dance all night. 
The Prom theme is "Under a Milky Way" and it's sure to be an party that's out of this world!

Featuring: Mab (Just Mab) –– Self proclaimed monkey lover, freak, sideshow girl, and musician, Mab is an artful glass walker, escape artist, fire eater, and drummer, full of boundless energy and humor.
And Lisa Oberg (The Amazing Trinket) –– Lisa's specialties include contortion, contact juggling, magic, and fire performance. She attended James Madison University and holds a BS in Art, with a concentration in screen printing. An accomplished artist, one of Lisa's prints is owned by Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Robert the Merciless our Emcee, and Solaries our Prom Hostess, will guide guests through an evening of great music, dancing, live talent on two stages, a prom photographer, contests & prizes and more!
Town is the magnificent new venue recently opened by the former management of Nation and Velvet. It features two beautiful levels, which we will employ to cater to both your Goth and Industrial needs all night long with seven great DJs. Pictures of this amazing venue are now posted on the website!

John Holmes of Bloodrose Industries - Bloodrose Industries specializes in independent films, photography, and graphic design work. They are currently working on new film projects, shooting a few shorts, and a book of photography. John Holmes from the group will be on hand scouting for talent for an upcoming video they will be shooting. Please come by and browse his portfolio and feel free to try out for his new video while you are there.

The prize packages and a secret panel of judges have been put together for the "Prom King & Queen" contest.......so couples....get ready!
Our hostess will tell you more details on the night of the Prom if you sign up.

We're also having a contest for best DIY prom outfit......so get creative.......make your own dress, suit, tux, costume....whatever you want, impress the judges with your imaginative attire....and win!

Also, a reminder to everyone that we will once again have custom made prom corsages and boutonnieres available again this year. They're pretty swanky, and they all have a commemorative ribbon to mark the occasion. Advanced orders can be placed up until Monday 5/19 at midnight. All orders will be available for pick up at Goth Prom. There will be some corsages available for purchase, while supplies last, if you don't want to order ahead. Infomation about pre-ordering is on the website.

This is a big night, and we encourage you to dress up in all your gothy finery. We want to make sure everyone looks their best....for the pictures! Our photographer will be taking traditional prom photos of everyone....singles, couples, and groups. And the photos will be available for sale at the end of the night, so you can take home a Prom souvenir!

It's going to be the biggest party of the year.
